HOW MANY POINTS DID CAITLIN CLARK SCORE TODAY? FULL STATS, RESULTS, HIGHLIGHTS FROM FEVER VS. STORM

After a recent flourish that saw the Fever win six of their last 10 games, the WNBA standings are looking increasingly more chaotic as we approach the midpoint of the season.

Indiana (7-12) finds itself on the cusp of a playoff spot, a mere half-game behind eighth place Chicago (6-11).

Not too long ago, it appeared as if Indiana was destined to reside in the cellar of the WNBA's totem pole. Caitlin Clark has found her footing since then, however, pouring in copious amounts of points, rebounds and assists while benefitting from improved play from Aliyah Boston, NaLyssa Smith and Kelsey Mitchell.

Clark was hoping to keep the good times rolling against the Storm on Thursday. However, she and her teammates were felled by a Jewell Loyd masterclass; the five-time All Star dropped 34 points to spearhead Seattle's comfortable 89-77 victory.

The Iowa alum was fairly effective in the first half, recording 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting while handing out three assists. She even sank one of her patented logo triples, captivating the Climate Pledge Arena in the process.

It wasn't enough in the end, though. A quiet second-half showing, coupled with strong play from Seattle's Nneka Ogwumike (15 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, three blocks, three steals) and Ezi Magbebor (18 points, two blocks, two steals) was enough to put the game away for the Storm, who improved to 11-6 with their victory.

Here's a look at Clark's highs, lows, stats and highlights from Thursday's matchup between the Indiana and Seattle.

Caitlin Clark highlights vs. Seattle Storm

Her limitless three-point range surfaced early, with Clark knocking in a pair of triples, one of which came from Seattle's distant logo.

She added a pair of impressive dimes soon after, finding Aliyah Boston and Katie Lou Samuelson with delicate feeds.

Clark added another highlight reel dish, this time resorting to a one-handed toss through traffic to set up NaLyssa Smith for the lay-in.
